Growing up: Wisdom tooth pain!

We all have to grow up. Even though some of us don't want to and we want to stay young forever, unfortunately its a part of life and it comes to everyone.

While growing up your body will change in many ways but today we are going to discuss Wisdom teeth.

If you dont know what they are, Their the teeth that come through right at the back of your mouth. These teeth are the last ones to come through.
They can cause alot of unwanted pain.
I am 22 and my 4 wisdom teeth have just started to come through all together causing me alot of pain and sleepless nights.

Wisdom teeth normally come through whilst a young person is going through their first year of college when they can less afford this to happen. It catches most people off guard and unfortunately this can not be helped.

Some people just like me are scared of having extractions, Therefore i will have to just put up with the pain but some people are willing to through and have them surgically removed.

If you are having alot of pain with your wisdom teeth then you may want to think about having a trip to your dentist for him to give you some information in coping with the pain or maybe he could give you some medication which you can take to ensure the the pain is eased or numbed.

There are some over the counter medication and also home remedies which can ease or temporarily relieve the pain such as:
Clove Oil: Apply the clove oil with a sterile cotton bud to the gum line. Clove oil has a local aesthetic and mild antiseptic effect and can be used to temporarily relieves toothache.

Ice: Sucking on ice or holding an ice pack to the gum line for a couple of minutes will numb the area to provide temporary relief. This should only be done for a maximum of 20 minutes a time.
Gargling salt water: Walm salt water acts like a tonic to remove any bacteria and will help with any inflammation of the gum tissue.

Gently Massaging: By massaging your gum gently can help as it increases the blood circulation to the area to promote healing as well as pain relief.

These are just a few ways to relieve the pain you get and there are many ways you can read about on the internet.

You should also try and take your mind off your pain as much as you can. In the past i have tried various ways to help with the pain of normal toothache such as training my mind to move the pain to somewhere else in my body like my arm but this time it does not seem to work as the pain is pretty severe.

I hope this post has helped you and if you need any more information (Im not a dentist but im here to help) then feel free to let me know and i will do what i can to help you. If you would like to share your experiences with me or maybe let me know your own remedies or how you coped with wisdom tooth pain that please feel free to leave a comment.

Thank you so much for this write up. It's been awhile that i have been going through the pain and it's at my wits end and was thinking to remove wisdom tooth. I searched for dentist Mumbai to get the best treatment. I will surely try this out if it's effective i will let it grow or else get it removed.
